Boss: Hey, you call the Managing Director at HQ…Tell him that the project has been cancelled…

Worker: Boss, don’t you wanna call him yourself? He is the MD, not the clerk..

Boss: Errmm.. Aahh.. Ehh.. You call la… I don’t like to call those people at HQ la.. I don't know them.. and besides I don’t like to talk to people from the HQ…

Worker: Why? (duh, as if I know them…)

Boss: They can be so demanding, ask a lot of questions. Sometimes, I don't know how to answer.

Worker: Don't you think it's more suitable for you to call him. You are the boss here whereas I am just a junior executive.

Boss: You call la… YOU CALL HIM AND TELL HIM THAT I TOLD YOU TO CALL HIM TO TELL that the project has been cancelled..

2. Be BRAVE to talk to the higher management.
